Over the course of his career Ryan has traveled globally for documentaries and historic news events, worked with countless commercial clients, and applied his creative eye to narrative storytelling.  Recently he was producer and cinematographer on the feature length documentary BENDING STEEL which saw it’s world premiere at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival.  His work has garnered numerous awards including two Emmys and an Edward R. Murrow award for cinematography.  His wide range of experience combined with a keen eye for lighting, a sophisticated yet innovative style, and an enthusiastic and engaging personality has made him one of the premier directors of photography in the industry.

Ryan now resides in Brooklyn, New York, where a diverse selection of clients benefit from his extensive experience with a variety of film and video formats.
